UBC Profile Search Block

The UBC Profile Search Block was created following the deprecation of the Profiles plugin on UBC CMS. This feature empowers site administrators to incorporate a search function if their profiles have been generated as posts categorized under specific categories or tags.

Select a taxonomy

This setting allows you to specify the type of taxonomy you want to search within. Your options include ‘Category’ and ‘Tag’.

Categories

This setting is available if Select a taxonomy is set to categories.


This setting determines the categories from which the posts are being searched.

Tags

This setting is available if Select a taxonomy is set to Tags.


This setting determines the tags from which the posts are being searched.

The UBC Profile Search Block is mobile friendly.

How to use the block on UBC CMS?

Navigate to your site’s Dashboard on UBC CMS and go to Plugins. Search for UBC Profiles Search Block and activate the plugin. proceed to the specific post or page you wish to edit. Click the + button located in the top-left corner or in the desired location on the page to add a block. Finally, search for UBC Profiles Search Block to insert it into your content.
